And we were filled with the ever important question of: what do we want our legacy to be? The steps we take today, build the future… so let’s make it one we can look back to be proud of! During the reception, our Silent Auction will be in full swing, to share the story of Caroline's Legacy and the importance of perseverance, faith and long-standing impact. Why a Silent Auction?
Hosted in honor of a friend, Caroline Ward Olsen, who battled Ovarian cancer and passed in 2021, shortly after the original Woman Landowner Symposium. Caroline helped orchestrate this Silent Auction as a way to spread awareness of ovarian cancer. A passionate wildlife biologist and nature enthusiast, we will share more about "Caroline's Legacy" at the silent auction. All funds will be 100% donated to The National Ovarian Cancer Coalition.
According to the American Cancer Society, ovarian cancer ranks fifth in cancer deaths among women.
